summer vacation began at the end of last week, and we’ve already started the descend into a relaxed and grateful state of mind.

thank you for another opportunity to photograph your beautiful family. these images are a love letter to the man that you’ve become,to the journey that we’ve been in observance of throughout the past fourteen years of our friendship. these pictures hold within them everything that i could have and did wish for you in your life. the love, friendship and hand of a beautiful,strong woman. the unyielding, raw and overwhelming love of your own children and the courage, knowledge and acceptance of the role that you play in so many peoples lives. when i think about you, i smile, naturally. you have a way of bringing happiness and joy to the people that are lucky enough to be surrounded by you. you are stability, brave and dependable. you are laughter and excitement, silly and free. you are inspiration, to never give up of your dreams; to persue what makes you happy, regardless of the struggle, or strive. you are honest, and one of the most loving men i’ve ever met.

naturally kelly and jenica’s daughters are the best of friends too, just like their mommies.

this evening on the beach with a bottle of wine and the sun slowly slipping into the ocean was the perfect opportunity to capture the authenticity of their friendship, the love within their relationship.
